Welcome to Greenwich and Woolwich Labour Party's website.
We are an active and vibrant Constituency Labour Party of over 800 members campaigning and listening to our local communities in Blackheath, Greenwich, Charlton and Woolwich.
We work with our public representatives to stand up for local people and improve our quality of life. We care passionately about our values of social justice, environmental sustainability, prosperity for all, and a strong commitment to internationalism. We work hard to help achieve this by campaigning for jobs, improved education, healthcare, policing and public transport.
We have an excellent local champion as our MP Nick Raynsford and Greater London assembly member Len Duvall.
We pride ourselves on being open and democratic so our regular and lively constituency meetings are always open to all members.
If you're already a member, please do click on to get more involved. But if you've got a busy life, we understand. Life has been a struggle for many with the Government's over-zealous cuts, the Mayor's relentless fare rises and mounting unemployment. But we're determined to campaign for change when and where we can, leading on campaigning for a London Living Wage, for Crossrail to come to Woolwich, and against yet more fare rises from the Tory mayor in 2012.
Please get on board.
