Allan MacCarthyAn active campaigner for over 35 years, Allan’s particular interests are education, the arts and Charlton itself. He chairs the borough’s Schools’ Forum and is a governor of both Cherry Orchard and Sherington primary schools. He was a governor of Greenwich Theatre for nearly 20 years and is now on Greenwich Dance Agency’s board. He is on the Rathmore Centre’s committee and has been a Charlton Society member for 30 years.
