I am very grateful to the people of Greenwich for
re-electing me earlier this year as your London Assembly
Member.
I will work hard to represent you, whether you supported me or not,
and do my best to improve life for everyone who lives
here.
The Labour group at the London Assembly has gone straight back to
work at City Hall, holding the new Mayor to account and continuing
to build on our previous successes.
Although
politically I may now be viewed as 'in opposition', I will support
the new Mayor when he gets things right. But if I believe that he
is doing things that would be harmful to our area then I will speak
out.
The
London Assembly also investigates issues of importance to Londoners
– the police, fire and emergency services, major developments and
transport. So if you have any concerns or complaints about these
