    Barbara Barwick

Barbara Barwick BARBARA BARWICK has been a Labour councillor in Greenwich for eight years and for the last four years has represented Woolwich Riverside ward, where she herself lives.

Barbara is passionate about education, and was for several years the chair of the education scrutiny panel, working actively to improve education standards in Greenwich. Her three children have all attended Greenwich schools. Barbara’s work locally has included being an active member of the Neighbourhood Renewal panel, ensuring funding for projects in the Ward, particularly aimed at helping unemployed people to return to work.

She has worked to improve the area around central Woolwich, in order to promote the town as a major shopping centre.

If re-elected, Barbara would like to continue to work towards making Woolwich a place where people will want to live, work and shop.
