Greenwich’s Labour council is to put in more entryphones on blocks on Chiswell Square and Brook Lane, after concerns from residents about security.

The council has also launched a renovation programme for dozens of street properties in the Westcombe Park area.

Nick Raynsford MP and local Labour councillor Alex Grant (above) have got the council to double-check whether all the work to windows and roofs is strictly necessary, and in many cases leaseholders’ bills have been reduced as a result.
