GARY PARKER
Gary Parker has been a Labour councillor in Charlton since 1998. Gary works as a community regeneration consultant, developing employment, training and childcare opportunities across London
and seeks to use this expertise to improve facilities locally.
Gary has successfully campaigned against telephone masts and environmental pollution locally. He welcomes the development of the new Materials Recycling Facility in Greenwich to improve recycling.
Gary helped to initiate the new Safer Neighbourhood team of six dedicated police officers for Charlton.
As both a parent and a school governor, Gary wants to improve educational achievement in Charlton, supports the redevelopment of the John Roan School and is campaigning for a new secondary school
in the Charlton area.
