Improvements around Westcombe Park station were completed in July. 

The council-funded work to improve lighting, resurface the area north of the station, and tidy up the corner of Westcombe Hill and Station Crescent, had been delayed by railway red tape for two years until Nick Raynsford MP and Labour councillor Alex Grant met with railway managers in January to pass on residents’ concerns about the delay. 

Further up Westcombe Hill, Nick and Alex are also pressing Thames Water to deal with their leak and pay for the road to be resurfaced.
